Business English
Vocabulary and phrases for correct business correspondence, by
telephone or email, eg. offers, orders etc.
Tuesdays, 1830-2000hrs
Advanced
Conversation
Free-flowing conversation on a wide range of topics, including
current affairs and listening to current TV and radio programmes.
Mondays, 1930-2100hrs; Wednesdays 0935-1105hrs
Intermediate Conversation
A focus on conversation, but with structured grammar and
CD listening exercises.
Tuesdays,
0900-1030hrs; Wednesdays 0800-0930hrs;
Wednesdays 1830-2000hrs
Intermediate
Simple conversation about every-day topics, introducing a
significant amount of new vocabulary;
Grammar includes present, past and future, but also the
present perfect, adverbs and adjectives.
Mondays, 0900-1030hrs; Wednesdays 1900-2030hrs (lower);
Thursdays 1900-2030hrs
'Start-again'
For
people who know some vocabulary and phrases, but who can't or
don't like to speak very much.
Thursdays, 0900-1030hrs; Thursdays 1930-2100hrs
Beginner
Three or four individual lessons are recommended for beginners,
so that the pace and content of the lessons is matched to the
individual.
